Jessica Meza, has been a member of the ICCRC since 2011. Her passion began when she dealt with her own unique immigration matter. In 2009 she became a member of CSIC the first regulatory body to oversea Immigration Consultant before ICCRC took over in 2011. She self-represented her case, appealed a negative decision to the Immigration Appeal Division, and ultimately was successful with her case.
Jessica has been in the immigration industry for 16 years. She worked as a legal assistant for 2 years for an immigration and family lawyer. She attained a Legal Assistant Diploma from Herzing College in 2005, and also obtained her Immigration Consultant Diploma from York College of Industry and Technology in 2006.
She immigrated to Canada in the early 80's from South America, Chile as a refugee. Having to become the family translator at a very early age. Knowing first hand the struggles new immigrants face when arriving to a new country.
Since 2017 Jessica carried the role of Immigration Instructor for an Immigration Practitioner Program at a Private College in Toronto.
